Orbital Industries raises $50 million to scale data-centre hardware

Plural led the Series B for the AI-driven industrial company.

Orbital Industries announced a $50 million Series B on May 28. NVentures, Radical Ventures, Compound and Fly Ventures also participated.

The funding will scale data-centre products, grow the AI and engineering teams and support applications beyond computing infrastructure. Orbital develops cooling materials and modular systems using AI models that simulate atomic behaviour.
