Insight Partners led the round, with funding earmarked for product development, broader industry coverage and hiring.
Salesforce Ventures, Geodesic Capital, Benchmark, Mayfield, FCVC, Y Combinator and Uncork Capital also participated.
Numeral plans to expand its offering for software, manufacturing, distribution and wholesale businesses. Its platform manages sales-tax obligations from monitoring and registration through calculation, filing and remittance, combining automation with access to tax specialists.
