NovaGo raises CHF24m Series B for spinal-cord-injury trial
Neurimmune and Pureos Bioventures led the financing for a 120-patient proof-of-concept study.
The financing will advance NovaGo’s lead anti-Nogo-A programme into a randomised, double-blind study in acute spinal-cord injury. The antibody targets a protein that limits nerve-fibre regeneration and neuroplasticity, with the aim of improving functional recovery.
Swiss Paraplegic Foundation and Wings for Life are providing separate non-dilutive support for the programme. NovaGo is also developing treatments for stroke and secondary progressive multiple sclerosis.
