Nearby Computing secures €1.4m public-private financing
Spain’s SETT contributes €680,000 to the €1.4m operation supporting Nearby Computing’s growth.
The total combines public investment with private capital. SETT’s €680,000 is one contribution, rather than the amount of the whole financing.
The capital will support company growth and Spanish digital-infrastructure capabilities. Nearby Computing, a spinout of Barcelona Supercomputing Center and UPC, serves organizations managing distributed cloud and edge workloads.
The company is extending its infrastructure orchestration across telecoms, energy and industrial environments.
