Namespace raises $42m Series B
Scale Venture Partners led the round, with NEA, 20VC, Essence, Burst Capital, Susa Ventures and Olivier Pomel participating.
Namespace closed a $42 million Series B announced on October 5, seven months after its Series A. Scale Venture Partners led the financing, which takes the company’s total funding to $65 million.
The expansion centres on the compute capacity needed to develop software, including applications written by coding agents. Namespace runs its own server racks and provides environments across Mac, Windows and Linux, with native Mac capacity for teams building and testing Apple software.
The company says revenue grew eightfold over the previous year and that more than 1,000 organisations use its platform. The funding supports further capacity for that customer base as coding agents increase the volume and concurrency of builds and tests.
