Minerva Humanoids emerged from stealth with about $10 million in pre-seed funding. General Catalyst led, with Long Journey Ventures and Credo Ventures as co-leads and several additional investors participating. The company said it plans to begin its first paid pilots in autumn, taking the remotely operated humanoid into dangerous industrial and public-safety settings.
