Metris Energy raises $5m seed as it launches Metria AI
The round brings disclosed funding to $7.5m and supports expansion beyond solar into wind and combined heat and power.
PT1 Ventures, Octopus Ventures, AENU and Blackfinch Ventures led the financing, with Love Ventures and Plug and Play participating.
Metris launched Metria AI alongside the round. The company says its platform manages more than 10,000 solar plants representing 500 MW, and plans to extend the software into wind and combined heat and power assets.
The seed proceeds will support AI development and growth across Europe, particularly Germany.
