Mecka raises $60m Series B to scale robot data collection
Data collection, evaluation and integration infrastructure for teams training robots and deploying them in commercial environments.
NVIDIA, M12, Qualcomm Ventures and Samsung joined the financing. Other named backers include Kindred Ventures, Framework Ventures, Neo, Tony Xu, Frank Slootman and Milan Kovac.
The company will scale data collection infrastructure, its internal research lab and commercial robot deployments. Its field integration work captures data at customer sites, connecting model adaptation to the physical tasks robots need to perform.
