Latus Bio raised $97 million in Series A financing on May 4. Participants included 8VC, DCVC Bio, BioAdvance, Benjamin Franklin Technology Partners, Modi Ventures, Gaingels, Hatch BioFund, Korea Development Bank and Helen's Pink Sky Foundation. The company develops AAV gene therapies for central nervous system and rare diseases, including Huntington's disease and CLN2.
