House of Student raised $2 million in seed financing on August 11. Participants included Saltwater Sutra, Nirmitsu Inspirational Ventures, Gautam Verlekar, Glen Fernandes, Richard McCallum, Ali Moosa and Unilodgers. The company operates a student-housing marketplace across more than 25 countries.
