Hestus raised $7.4 million in seed financing on October 2. Participants included Chalfen Ventures, Rock Yard Ventures, Kyle Vogt, Insight Partners and Garage Capital.

The company reports more than 5,000 engineers using its tools for mechanical design, starting with a copilot inside Autodesk Fusion.
