Furientis raises $25m seed as interceptor testing and manufacturing expand
Benchmark led the October 2026 financing following Furientis’s $5m pre-seed announcement in May.
Furientis announced a $25 million seed round led by Benchmark on October 6, 2026. The financing follows the interceptor developer’s $5 million pre-seed disclosed in May and marks Benchmark’s first investment in a company focused entirely on defense technology, according to Furientis.
By the seed announcement, Furientis said its team had completed 21 vehicle tests over ten months: 13 flight tests and eight static fires. It had opened the first of two planned propellant-manufacturing sites, with capacity to make and test dozens of rocket motors per month.
The company also reported a funded government prototype agreement and progress in missile competitions. It plans to use the new capital to recruit engineers, expand in-house manufacturing and testing, and advance programmes with customers and end users.
