Flow Engineering raises $50m Series B for AI hardware engineering
Valor Equity Partners and Atreides Management co-lead the financing at a $750m valuation.
Flow Engineering announced a $50 million Series B on 30 September 2026, co-led by Valor Equity Partners and Atreides Management. The financing values the hardware-development software company at $750 million.
From design changes to verification
Flow connects requirements, CAD, simulation, code and tests. Its agents trace the effects of engineering changes and check whether a programme still meets its requirements, helping teams coordinate work across mechanical, electrical and software systems.
The company says Rivian usage grew from 40 to 1,500 users in seven months. Other customers named in the announcement include Anduril, Joby Aviation and Stoke Space.
Engineering capacity and controls
The funding will support AI and systems-engineering hiring, review and evaluation capabilities, security controls and sales expansion. Flow also plans to pursue FedRAMP authorization and other certifications for regulated customers.
Sequoia Capital participated alongside Human Capital, Evantic, SV Angel, Odyssey Ventures and EQT, among others. Roelof Botha invested personally and joined the board as an independent director.
