Ferm Labs raises €3m seed round led by CDP's Green Transition Fund
Fund F, Redstone and Loacker participated; proceeds will expand production, European sales and ingredient R&D.
Ferm Labs closed a €3 million seed round led by CDP Venture Capital through its Green Transition Fund. Fund F, Redstone and Loacker participated.
The company will expand bioprocessing and production capacity in South Tyrol, grow European B2B sales and develop additional ingredient categories. Its lead product, Kokumesan, uses fermented liquid whey to deliver an aged-cheese flavor in industrial food formulations.
