Everest Biolabs receives $2.1m NIH SBIR Direct-to-Phase II grant
The multi-year NIGMS award supports plate-based extracellular-vesicle isolation and higher-purity Apex columns.
Everest Biolabs received a $2.1 million Small Business Innovation Research Direct-to-Phase II grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, part of NIH. The multi-year award, R44GM165165, was announced on September 24.
The grant will fund next-generation automated plate-based extracellular-vesicle isolation and development of Apex columns for higher-purity processing of complex biofluids. The work extends a product range that already includes Ascent and Summit instruments, Apex columns and Atlas ELISA kits.
