EDT raises $2.4M pre-Series A in equity and venture debt
EDT raised $2.4 million in pre-Series A financing led by existing investor Sauce, combining equity with venture debt from Alteria Capital.
Existing angels including Raul Rai, Shibam Das, Arindam Paul, Ajith Pai and Anushree Tainwala also participated.
The company plans festive-season inventory, new products and larger growth, supply-chain, brand and product teams. The September financing accompanies its move from kitchen appliances into beauty devices; its Amazon business grew nearly sevenfold between March and July.
