eComID raises $17m seed round as Stadium becomes an investor

The sports retailer moves from early customer to shareholder in the Stockholm shopping-personalisation company.

Retail adoption brings retail capital

Stadium’s investment links the round to a retailer already using eComID’s products. The company says it now works with more than 60 brands and reaches 20 million shoppers a month, having grown to that point without a dedicated sales or marketing team.

Systemiq Capital leads the financing, with CapitalT investing again after leading the earlier pre-seed round. The shareholder group also brings operating experience from fashion and consumer platforms, including former Depop CEO Maria Raga and former Matalan CEO Henrik Nordvall.
