Berlin-based Deepslate has raised €7.7 million in Seed funding led by 42CAP, with Alstin Capital and SI Ventures participating. The company develops speech-to-speech models for customer conversations, retaining audio signals such as intonation rather than relying solely on a text transcription.
Deepslate plans to expand its European training data and infrastructure and hire across engineering and commercial functions. It targets insurers, contact centres and software platforms, offering European hosting and self-hosting options for organisations deploying voice agents.
