ColibriTD raises €4m seed for quantum-powered industrial simulation
Earlybird leads a follow-on investment as ColibriTD moves from seven completed collaborative projects toward wider industrial use.
A second investment behind the simulation platform
The seed round follows Earlybird’s earlier €1 million pre-seed investment. At the August announcement, ColibriTD reported a team of about 20 and seven completed projects spanning six sectors, including aerospace, semiconductors, nuclear energy and finance.
Those projects address the equations behind engineering decisions, from radio-frequency design to combustion modelling. ColibriTD also offers QUICK-PDE through IBM’s Qiskit Function Catalog for Premium and Flex Plan users, giving researchers a way to explore its solver within an existing quantum-computing environment.
