BrainChild Bio raises $116M Series A for CNS cancer programs
BrainChild Bio raised $116 million in Series A financing in September, led by an undisclosed private family fund and foundation.
The financing supports the Phase 2 ILLUMINATE study of BCB-276 for diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma and continued development of BCB-214 for glioblastoma.
The programs use CAR T-cell therapies delivered locally into cerebrospinal fluid. The round advances clinical and development work rather than establishing a new approved treatment.
