Benford raised €5 million in pre-seed financing led by firstminute capital, with Global Founders Capital, Sondo and strategic individual investors participating.

Peter ter Maaten, Arthur Waller, Quentin de Metz, Alexandre Prot and the Spandow family also backed the round.

The company plans to expand offices, recruit audit and engineering staff and enter Sweden and other European markets. The expansion builds on a registered Norwegian audit practice already delivering client work through its AuditOS software.
