Basalt Health raises $20M Series A led by NEA
NEA led a $20m Series A to expand Basalt Health’s post-acute admissions platform into discharge and payer workflows.
Frist Cressey Ventures and 25m Health also participated. Basalt plans to grow its engineering, implementation and commercial teams.
The software reads incoming patient referrals and checks them against facility criteria, helping admissions teams decide which patients they can accept. Basalt is operating at Lifepoint Health and plans to extend its rollout across ScionHealth hospitals by year-end.
