Backbone raised €4 million in pre-seed financing led by Pitchdrive, with PROfounders Capital, Passion Capital, 100IN, Agristo and Darta participating.
Pitchdrive led Backbone’s €4 million pre-seed round, with PROfounders Capital, Passion Capital, 100IN and Belgian food-industry backers including Agristo and Darta participating.
Backbone connects supplier documents, laboratory results, recipes and quality requirements so food businesses can identify gaps and prioritize compliance work. Funding will support product development, marketing and partnerships with certification bodies and ERP implementation firms, following expansion into the UK and the Netherlands.
