Autoimmunity BioSolutions closes $1m seed extension
Eos BioInnovation and family-office investors back further preclinical work, bringing total seed capital to $3.1m.
Additional capital for animal and patient-sample studies
Eos BioInnovation anchored Autoimmunity BioSolutions’ $1m seed extension. Independent Capital and Elmstead Partners continued their support, and NewTech Investment Holdings joined as a new family-office investor.
The extension brings total seed capital to $3.1m. CEO Eugene Williams said the money would support animal-model work and analyses of patient biological samples in rheumatoid arthritis. These are development activities, rather than evidence of an established clinical treatment.
