ArtMaster secures $500,000 from JARO Capital

Robert Kyncl and Jaroslav Beck’s investment vehicle takes a 15% stake as the music-course business prepares to reach English-speaking learners.

JARO Capital invested $500,000 in ArtMaster for a 15% stake, according to reports published in March 2022. The vehicle brings together YouTube executive Robert Kyncl and Beat Saber co-creator Jaroslav Beck.

The investment followed ArtMaster’s move from a physical music school to recorded online teaching during the pandemic. At the time, the company reported more than 8,000 Czech customers and around 11,000 course purchases. Its next step was to take that approach to the US, where it had begun discussions with potential instructors and students.
