Arda discloses $72m seed led by Accel and Founders Fund
The earlier seed financing preceded Arda’s $160m Series A and supported its work on AI software for manufacturing engineering.
Arda Industries disclosed an earlier $72 million seed round when it launched publicly on October 20, 2026. Accel and Founders Fund led that financing, with Khosla Ventures and XYZ Venture Capital also participating.
The seed backed a manufacturing software company founded by former OpenAI research chief Bob McGrew. Arda’s AI agents turn product designs into assembly plans and update factory instructions when designs change. Anduril was its first design partner and customer, using the technology within ArsenalOS.
At launch, Arda also announced a separate $160 million Series A, taking total funding to $232 million. The company plans to expand its engineering and research teams, deploy with more manufacturers and develop models for robotic assembly.
