ARCYN Defense opens second seed round for Iron Rain development
The June announcement seeks further capital for engineering and field validation following ARCYN’s earlier seed close; it does not disclose a completed new raise.
ARCYN plans to use proceeds for prototype refinement, testing, partnerships and preparation for commercialization of its counter-drone system. It did not announce an investment amount or name participants in the new round.
The company said it had signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the U.S. Army DEVCOM Armaments Center and was preparing for a field trial. Those development activities explain the financing request; they do not establish that the second round has closed or that the system is already deployed at scale.
