AquaPoro closes $5M seed round led by Breakout Ventures
Cerberus Ventures, Humba Ventures and One Small Planet participated as AquaPoro prepared manufacturing scale-up and its first commercial pilots.
The funding moves the company toward field deployment of its atmospheric water technology. AquaPoro announced plans to break ground on a continuous-flow harvesting installation with UC Riverside’s Center for Environmental Research and Technology.
The company also reported interest from a national beverage manufacturer and a multinational water-treatment business, without naming them. That interest is separate from completed installations or customer contracts; the stated purpose of the seed capital is to build manufacturing capability and deploy pilot systems.
