Aqua raises $15M Series A led by Arthur Ventures

Alumni Ventures participated in the financing, announced alongside Aqua’s alternative-investment platform launch and $18.8M in total funding.

The Series A follows a $3.8 million seed round backed by Google’s AI Fund, Y Combinator and others. Those earlier investors are distinct from the syndicate named for the current round.

Aqua plans to expand engineering and partnership teams and deepen connections with custodians and fund sponsors. Announcing the financing with its turnkey alternative investment platform positions the capital around the infrastructure wealth managers need to operate alternatives programmes, rather than marketplace access alone.
