Aptadir Therapeutics raises €40M seed round led by 4BIO Capital
The financing will advance Aptadir’s investigational RNA-therapy pipeline, including its Fragile X syndrome programme CAP1-FMR1.
The seed round follows earlier support from the EXTEND Initiative, which participated again. New backing includes CDP Venture Capital, Xgen Ventures, Indaco-related funds and other investors, while Angelini Ventures also invested directly.
The funding gives Aptadir resources to advance development-stage candidates originating in academic research into gene silencing. Its lead programme remains investigational: the financing is a development step toward the clinic, rather than evidence that a treatment is already available to patients.
