Apaluma announces $5.55M seed funding for government data platform

Crosslink Capital, Kickstart, Haven Ventures and Overwater Ventures backed Apaluma’s seed financing to expand access to government regulatory records.

Apaluma’s announcement names Crosslink Capital and Kickstart as leads, with Haven Ventures and Overwater Ventures as co-leads. The company also identifies Orange DAO and NM Vintage Fund as backers across its pre-seed and seed financings, without assigning each to this round.

The financing supports expansion of its unified data platform. An early application brought the New Mexico Environment Department’s public archive into a searchable system, giving the business a government deployment to build on as it takes the product to more agencies.
