Antiverse raises $9.3M Series A and starts cystic fibrosis research collaboration

Soulmates Ventures leads Antiverse's $9.3 million round as the antibody company expands its pipeline and announces a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation research agreement.

New and returning investors

Innovation Investment Capital and DOMiNO Ventures joined the financing alongside existing investors DBW, Kadmos Capital and i&i Biotech Fund. The Series A takes Antiverse's funding since inception above $20 million.

A research agreement alongside the financing

Antiverse also announced work with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to design antibodies against the extracellular region of CFTR. Candidates will be screened in Antiverse's laboratory workflow before optimized antibodies move to the Foundation's lab for testing in native-expression cell models.

Antiverse also aims to move its first wholly owned candidates into later-stage preclinical development by 2027. The Foundation agreement is a research collaboration, separate from the named investment syndicate.
