Antidote raises $5 million seed to expand legal billing compliance
Lakestar leads with Concept Ventures and The LegalTech Fund as Antidote plans product development and U.S. expansion.
A new round following its pre-seed
Antidote announced a $5 million seed round on January 21, led by Lakestar. Concept Ventures, The LegalTech Fund and unnamed industry angels participated. The financing follows a $2 million pre-seed in 2025 and brings total funding to $7 million.
Building on law-firm adoption
The funding supports product development and expansion in the United States. At the announcement, Antidote said its billing-compliance platform was already being used by law firms in the U.S., U.K. and Australia and integrated with major timekeeping and practice-management systems.
Founder Nicholas d’Adhemar is building the business around earlier detection of billing-rule violations, reducing the manual review firms otherwise face when preparing invoices.
