Antheia adds $24 million in second Series C close for pharmaceutical manufacturing
ATHOS KG and America’s Frontier Fund co-lead the additional financing as Antheia prepares U.S. manufacturing operations and new ingredient launches.
A second close with two named co-leads
Antheia completed a second Series C close of $24 million, announced January 27. ATHOS KG and America’s Frontier Fund led the financing, with participation from existing investors including Global Health Investment Corporation.
Commercial capacity and U.S. operations
The proceeds will expand commercial manufacturing, advance late-stage biosynthetic ingredients toward market and establish U.S. manufacturing operations. The announcement followed Antheia’s first commercial thebaine delivery, two federal manufacturing project agreements and a strategic partnership with TAPI.
Antheia also reported more than $175 million secured during the previous year. That broader figure combines financing, available capital and non-dilutive government project funding; it is separate from the additional $24 million Series C close.
