Another Earth reports €3.5 million in funding for commercial expansion
Wake-Up Capital joins existing backers as Another Earth expands synthetic-data deployments in Brazil and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Private backers and public funding support
Another Earth reported €3.5 million in total funding on March 11. The announcement named new investor Wake-Up Capital alongside existing backers Rockstart, Inovexus and Stamco AG, and cited strategic funding from Austria’s FFG and AWS. It did not separate the current private investment from public funding or specify individual financing instruments.
Moving from research into commercial deployments
The company is directing funding toward deployment of its Synthetic Data Engine, which generates labelled imagery for training geospatial AI models. The expansion targets environmental monitoring and risk simulation in Brazil and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Its existing work with GeoTerra Image covers the environmental effects of mining and industrial sites. A new NovaTerra partnership is intended to adapt the platform for Brazilian ecosystems, including applications in deforestation, agriculture and climate risk. The financing announcement presents this as a transition from technical research to commercial scaling.
