Anori spins out of Alphabet’s X with a $26 million seed round

Prologis, Builders VC and Series X Capital co-lead financing as Anori launches independently and works with Rio de Janeiro.

An independent company with five named backers

Anori became independent from Alphabet’s X on March 19, backed by a $26 million seed round. Its CEO named Prologis, Builders VC and Series X Capital as co-leads, with Sorenson Impact Group and Telescopic Ventures also participating. Builders VC separately confirmed the amount and seed stage.

Industry partnerships and an urban licensing project

The launch announcement also identified partnerships with Gensler and SERA Architects. Those architecture firms were described as partners, separately from the financing syndicate.

Anori was already working with the City of Rio de Janeiro on its urban licensing process. The company is developing a shared AI environment for planning building projects and was recruiting for its independent team. The financing follows X’s public introduction of the project in autumn 2025.
