AMP IT secures funding for Swiss and European charging expansion
The Geneva company reports €7m in cumulative financing, with Swiss Technology Fund support and plans to develop its software and deployment capacity.
New financing within a larger funding history
AMP IT announced a new financing on May 12, 2026, bringing the company’s cumulative funding since its 2021 founding to €7 million. It did not disclose the amount of the latest round separately. The announcement identified support from the Swiss Technology Fund, whose role is to provide loan guarantees to eligible Swiss companies.
Turning a development pipeline into deployments
The company reported a development pipeline of more than 15,000 charging points. That figure describes planned opportunities rather than installed chargers. AMP IT plans to use the financing to scale operations, develop its software and expand in Switzerland and selected European markets, particularly the Nordics and Southern Europe.
