Amara raises €3.7m pre-seed with Econa, Caesar VC and IBB Ventures
Amara’s pre-seed financing supports further technology development and its next growth stage.
Funding a broader AgeTech platform
Amara announced €3.7m in pre-seed financing on September 29, 2026, with Econa, Caesar VC and IBB Ventures participating. The Berlin company was founded in 2025 by Philipp Hartz and Richard Hector and had an eight-person team at the announcement.
The founders outlined a longer-term ambition for a digital ecosystem supporting older adults beyond a single device. The investor announcement described emergency calling and an alarm wristband as planned additions around the turn of 2027. Those plans give context to the development programme; they were not presented as capabilities already delivered by the financing.
