Alpaca raises $135m led by Peak XV alongside debt financing

Alpaca announces a Peak XV-led raise within a $435m financing package that also includes debt from Payward and BMO.

A new raise and a wider financing package

Alpaca announced a $135 million raise led by Peak XV on July 16, 2026, with major participation from Elefund and additional backing from Opera Tech Ventures and Unbound.

The issuer describes $435 million in new financing including debt, primarily from Payward and BMO. That wider package is distinct from the $135 million headline raise and from the $150 million Series D announced in January.

The financing supports brokerage and prime-brokerage infrastructure for traditional and onchain markets. At the announcement, Alpaca said it had acquired regulated entities in India, the UK and Europe, launched European equities access and exceeded $1.5 billion in assets under custody for stocks underlying tokenized equities.
