Aligator raises $1.2m seed for regional PR automation expansion
Qatar Development Bank and Media City Qatar’s Next Ventures lead the financing, with private investors joining the round.
A seed round for the next stage of the product
Aligator announced the seed financing on September 30, 2026, bringing together QDB and Next Ventures as co-leads. Next Ventures is a fund established by Media City Qatar, where Aligator is incorporated.
The company is developing agents for communications work, including press-material preparation and journalist outreach alongside coverage monitoring. The financing backs the team and product needed to extend those workflows to agencies, businesses and government communications teams across the GCC and MENA. This expansion builds on the startup’s existing media-intelligence product.
