Agon launches with $23m seed following $7m pre-seed
Agon disclosed $30 million across a $7 million pre-seed and a subsequent $23 million seed as it launched its defence simulation platform.
Financing and company context
Lakestar, 201 Ventures, D3 and angels backed the pre-seed. XYZ, Lux Capital and Northzone invested in the subsequent seed, with existing backers also participating. Lakestar’s Klaus Hommels joined the board.
At the July launch, Agon reported initial partnerships with European defence-autonomy companies. It plans to expand the platform for European users; the announcement does not establish completed operational deployment.
