Agilis Air announces $1.4m early funding and Army marketplace entry

Agilis Air’s $1.4 million financing supports Ohio production, certifications and deliveries as its Remora platform enters the Army’s UAS Marketplace.

Financing and company context

AgEagle Aerial Systems, North Coast Ventures, Vici Capital and angel investors took part in the financing announced September 14. The issuer also identifies Ohio Innovation Fund among its backers.

Alongside the funding, Agilis announced acceptance into the Army’s UAS Marketplace, making Remora available for direct purchase. That is a commercial-access milestone; participation in later Drone Dominance Program phases remains prospective.

The financing is intended to support manufacturing at Youngstown, completion of certifications and deliveries against the Army pipeline. Co-founder Shawn Theiss brings prior drone-development experience, while Yon Raz-Fridman serves as executive chairman.
