CrowdStrike Falcon Fund invests in Above Security
The undisclosed strategic investment accompanies a Falcon integration and follows Above’s earlier $50m financing.
An investment tied to a platform partnership
Above Security announced an investment from the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund at Black Hat USA. It did not disclose the amount. The investment follows a separate $50m round led by Ballistic Ventures, Merlin Ventures and Norwest.
The announced integration connects Falcon Next-Gen SIEM telemetry to Above’s investigations and sends completed cases back into Falcon. It builds on Above’s participation in CrowdStrike’s startup accelerator, where it reached the live finals and finished runner-up.
