Abbelight closes Series B led by AVANT BIO

The microscopy company plans broader commercial adoption and new applications in drug discovery.

Extending adoption beyond the installed base

AVANT BIO led Abbelight’s Series B financing. The company did not disclose the amount in its January announcement.

Abbelight said the investment would accelerate commercial expansion while supporting more than 100 installed systems. Its next applications include single-cell phenotyping and validation of drug mechanisms of action, broadening its reach across biopharma, biotechnology and contract research organisations.
