VC Trade

Germany · Fintech · Enterprise software

VC Trade operates a digital marketplace and transaction platform for institutional debt financing. Banks, issuers, arrangers and investors use it to originate, syndicate and administer instruments such as Schuldschein loans and other private-debt products through connected digital workflows.

How it works

Banks, corporate issuers, arrangers and institutional investors use VC Trade’s shared platform to exchange information and manage transactions across the debt lifecycle. Digitised workflows connect counterparties during origination and syndication and support the related transaction operations, reducing the manual coordination needed to raise and distribute debt capital.

The platform is especially established in the German Schuldschein market. UniCredit described VC Trade as a leading marketplace in that market by both volume and number of transactions intermediated, and said the platform connects a broad network of banks, issuers and institutional investors across Europe.

Customers and maturity

VC Trade serves institutional borrowers and lenders, banks and other debt-market intermediaries. Founded in 2016, it is an established marketplace; UniCredit announced a minority investment in September 2026 to support its growth and international expansion.
