Vaxdyn

Spain · Biotech · Healthtech

Vaxdyn develops vaccines against antimicrobial-resistant bacteria, including its lead candidate K-VAX for Klebsiella pneumoniae and Acinetobacter baumannii.

Product and development

Vaxdyn’s proprietary vaccine platform is designed to address bacterial infections for which antibiotic resistance limits treatment options. Its lead candidate, K-VAX, targets Klebsiella pneumoniae and Acinetobacter baumannii and is ready to enter first-in-human evaluation.

The company is advancing its vaccine from preclinical development toward clinical testing. Its September Series A will fund the first-in-human Phase I trial of K-VAX, so the candidate remains investigational rather than an available vaccine.
