Morphotonics

Netherlands · Industrial tech · Hardware

Morphotonics makes large-area nanoimprint lithography equipment for manufacturers of optical components, including display waveguides and data-center photonics.

Product and customers

Morphotonics’ nanoimprint platform transfers fine optical structures from a stamp into photosensitive materials, enabling manufacturers to produce large-area optical components. The process is used for applications such as augmented-reality waveguides and is being extended to co-packaged optics for data centers.

Customers are display, AR and photonic-component manufacturers that need repeatable production processes. Morphotonics has deployed lithography systems globally and is scaling equipment for higher-volume manufacturing; its newer co-packaged-optics machines are still in development.
