Laki Power makes line-powered monitoring stations and analytics for electric utilities and transmission operators. The units harvest power from overhead conductors and combine cameras, sensors, onboard processing and communications to spot grid, weather and security risks remotely.

Monitoring from the conductor

Laki Power builds monitoring stations for transmission system operators and electric utilities. Its LKX-MULTI mounts on an overhead conductor and powers itself from the line, bringing cameras, weather and line sensors, onboard computing and LTE or satellite communications to locations that may lack separate power and communications infrastructure.

From field signals to operator action

The station streams visual and sensor data while processing selected signals on board. The company says it can detect conditions such as smoke and ice loading; its analytics software brings live sensor data, alerts and forecasting tools together for grid operators. The product is designed for rugged remote installations and is already deployed with utilities.
