Hardware-enabled software that monitors CNC machine condition and production without controller integration.

What it does

A device installed on the moving side of a CNC machine measures its mechanical behavior, then provides component-level trends for parts such as bearings, ballscrews, guides and spindles. The system is designed to work across machine brands and ages without connecting to the machine controller or requiring an IT integration project.

How customers use it

Maintenance and production teams use the resulting condition and process data to identify developing faults, track utilization and plan service around observed machine state. IPercept says new monitoring capabilities can be added through software updates to the installed device; its site describes deployments in industrial production, including aerospace and defence manufacturing.
