Clastix builds Kubernetes infrastructure software, including Kamaji for hosted tenant control planes and kMetal for bare-metal cluster operations.
Hosted control planes with Kamaji
Kamaji is Clastix’s open-source Kubernetes control-plane manager. It runs independent tenant control planes as pods inside a management cluster rather than requiring dedicated control-plane machines for each cluster. Operators can declare tenant cluster configuration through Kubernetes resources; Kamaji provisions and reconciles the control planes and can share datastore infrastructure while preserving tenant isolation.
From open-source engine to managed platform
Clastix also offers kMetal, a commercial bare-metal Kubernetes platform built on Kamaji with fleet management and operational tooling. The company supports teams running Kubernetes across cloud, data-center, edge and bare-metal environments, and offers production support from the engineers maintaining its software. Its products target organizations operating multi-tenant infrastructure that need the isolation of separate clusters without the overhead of separately provisioning every control plane.
